Chicago White Sox bat

Can anyone tell me more about this bat? Was it a practice bat or a giveaway? Just curioous picked it up at auction.

Hi Jason - based on the photos you have posted, the bat appears to be a promotional / store model bat. A few items that lead me to this conclusion are:

• length and shape of bat appear to be small and the bat does not appear to be a professional model length
• wood quality and finish is inferior to professional model bats
• stampings are not deeply stamped - they are imprinted
• White Sox logo on barrel would NOT be imprinted on a professional model bat
