I saw this today was going to post it on here lol, I couldn't believe it when I saw it they sound really desperate if you ask me, the cup of dirt would be cool but that is about it

To some eyes, things like this are almost Holy Relics; people latch onto stuff like this almost as fervently as they used to shell out money for what was supposed to be a tiny sliver of the True Cross, or a bit of bone from some Saint's elbow. We make fun of this auction, I think, largely because the items are anonymous - but what if somebody was offering a used Gatorade cup or a wad of chewing gum and could prove that it had been used by Derek Jeter or Mike Trout or Randy Johnson? You might not pay a lot for something like that, but maybe a few dollars? Would you have it in your collection at all, if it was cheap enough or even free? Something to think about.
