Tony Gwynn Size 52 Jersey in SCP ?

I am scratching my head on this size 52 jersey from the Gwynn family in the current SCP acution, I though he never wore a size 52?

This jersey was worn for 1 game....I have been told there were 4 Jerseys ordered for this game....2 size 50 and 2 size 52. I guess Tony picked the size 52. Besides this Jersey, I don't think wore size 52 any other game, that is what I have been told!

This is a Mitchell & Ness. Obviously there will be size variances with different manufacturers with one off jerseys. If you are referring to an earlier discussion from a pervious post, it was the Russell Athletic jerseys that were in question.

If you find a size 52 with the correct font, which is a Russell Athletic and a COA from Alicia Gwynn, I would like to see it.

There's always some additional background and this is a correct statement. I've heard this from different sources. Hope this helps with the whole size 52 conspiracy.

Here is my game issued TBTC jersey same size, same tags!!
I was told M&N made a total of six jerseys for Tony. Three size 50 and three size 52.
According to the Padres gift shop manager,Tony chose size 52 and rest were sold at the gift shop that same night.
