Both teams wore circa 1958 retro uniforms today, but the Cubs versions all bore the #14 in memory of the late Ernie Banks.

For those who prefer TBTC uniforms to actually be worn in the game itself as opposed to just on the bench, here's a few observations.

Cubs:

David Ross came off the DL before the game, and was in uniform, though he did not play (Tyler Teagarden was the catcher)

Miguel Montero MAY have dressed for the game, but did not play due to being put on the DL.

Mike Baxter was sent to Iowa before the game and did not wear his TBTC uniform.

The only pitcher on the team to actually play was starter Jake Arietta, who threw a 3-1, 2-hit CG at the Pale Hose.

White Sox:

Jose Abreu dressed, but did NOT play.

Only 2 Sox hurlers got into the game: starter Jose Quintana and reliever Zach Putnam.

I hope this helps.
