Vintage H&B bat of Rocky Colavito. Listed as game used. Authenticity question
Currently listed on Ebay. H&B label looks fine, but the knob is stamped with a single number "4". The seller says that denotes a 34" bat - but is this a gamer? Others currently for sale all are stamped K55 on the knob which I assume is a model number.
Any help would be great.

The number 4 on the knob does indicate that the bat is 34 inches in length, however it also indicates that the bat is not a professional bat that would have been used by Colavito.

store model bat, not a gamer. you are correct, gamer would have bat model on knob and markings on barrel would be way more defined
