Question about Minnisota Twins MLB Holograms
While searching around for a Game worn Minnesota Twins jersey I have noticed the wording/term used in the MLB database is "team issued". I take to mean "not worn but prepared for use", however, every Twins jersey that MLB Hologram I was able to check (10 or so) all say "team issued". So now I am wondering if that is just the terminology they use, similar to the Boston Bruins using the term "issued" on the LOA from the late 90's early 2000's.
Thanks
Jim

Re: Question about Minnisota Twins MLB Holograms
My understanding was that if the authenticate did not see it worn in the game then they can't auth it as game used. So "Team Issued" items may show use prevent be photo matched to actual games.

Correct. Twins jerseys are authenticated as "Game Issued" unless the authenticator sees the jersey come off the player. When the players' lockers are cleaned out at year end, the jerseys are all authenticated as "Game Issed" (even if they show tremendous use).
