Anyone familiar with this dealer? I came across a game used item that they sold with this invoice...the item is from 1990...not sure when they were in business...if anyone has any history on them, please share...thanks.

They were a sporting goods store mostly in the SF Bay Area. In the 80's and 90's a lot of schools, youth and adult sport teams used them for uniforms. Their school business took a big hit when the big shoe/clothing companies started with their contracts

I live in Alameda and remember Doherty and Dunne. Like dnrapp mentioned they dealt a lot in uniforms for youth and adult league teams in addition to stuff that regular sporting goods stores dealt in. They've been gone for a long time. I don't remember exactly when the closed up but it must have been in the early to mid 90's. I don't remember them selling game used equipment though. Curious what the item you have that is attributed to them?
