The tags match according to this guys site

However from the pics I can't see if your shows any use, repairs, hit marks etc

    So hard to determine

It looks to be at least team issued. Issued late in the 1992 season.

If you read the description in the lions website it states that his 18 Lions gamers all have the size tag and BENEATH this tag (or under it) is the date code tag. The date code and the size are not on the same tag.

I have found this to be true for my Wilson 49er shirts from 1990-1995. All of the game used 49er shirts that I have from this time frame have the size tag with the date code on a separate tag underneath the size tag.

My personal opinion is that any shirt with the date code and size on the same tag is a retail shirt.

Always buying 49er game worn items.

My opinion on this jersey is a retail authentic Wilson jersey with the date code being 1992/Feburary.

I agree with the previous posters.

On a side note, we do have a great Bears game used thread that you may enjoy reading: http://www.gameuseduniverse.com/vb_forum/showthread.php?t=31145

Bears Wilson jerseys from the early 90's (91 & 92 for sure) have 2 flag tags. One has a size and the other has the 2 letter date code behind it. The flag tags are 1/2 inch wide but I have seen one that has 1 inch tag.

The main difference between a retail and team bought jersey is the size/date tags. Retail jerseys are always on a 1 inch tag with the size and date code on one. The retail jerseys look identical to the team bought jerseys.

Usually the easy way to tell is the size. Neal Anderson wore size 40 in his early days and in the 90's he wore 42. This jersey is close at 44 but most are made for non sports bodies and tend to be above 48.
