If I wore this to a mariners game to cheer for Seattle but also represent my dead team, would it be a bad thing?

Re: Is this sacrilege?
I don't know anything about baseball, but still wear my New Jersey Nets jerseys and have even worn two teams at the same time with shorts and jerseysComment

Re: Is this sacrilege?
My theory is I can get away with it cause my expos don't exist anymore and Seattle is my local team now. So it's a way to pay tribute to both.Comment

Re: Is this sacrilege?
Since it's a retail M's jersey, I wouldn't find fault with it.

Boo! (Brilliant idea, BTW.) The Expos shall return... soon! I think they're actually talking about a new stadium and maybe applying for a team in 2019.Comment

Re: Is this sacrilege?
Dave, yeah I wouldn't mess up a team issued one...I found a 10$ mariners one with some dude's name on a nameplate so I in stitched it all and now have a project jersey .
Yeah I've flown back to Montreal for the last two sets of per season jays games and can't wait for the expos to be reborn! My son will probably grow up a mariners fan, it's weird having a team die on you.Comment

Re: Is this sacrilege?
I've seen people wear jerseys that are split right down the middle with different teams on each side. I think the last one I saw was a Giants jersey on one side and an Athletics jersey on the other. It happens. Whatever floats your boat.Comment

Re: Is this sacrilege?
I once saw a guy wearing a Diamondbacks jersey with "L.A. SUCKS" in place of a player's name on the back - does that count?Jeff

Re: Is this sacrilege?
In a town where the South Side team fans are obsessed with the North Side team almost to the point of needing psychiatric help, I still see a few Sox fans who thought it clever to wear Sox or Marlins jerseys with (Bartman 03) on the back. It was clever for about 2 weeks after the 2003 NLCS...now it's just dumb.Comment
