A fake 2001 Rangers jersey. (Neck tags, no Meigray, no flag tags, the "100 Yr Anniv" patch is sewn in the wrong place). ARod signed it "Game Used". The signature itself looks good and comes with a PSA/DNA cert.

This should not be a surprise to the hobby, by any means.

When Arod was a member of the Mariners, Griffey Jr. turned him onto selling extra jerseys, bats, gloves, you name it! He learned from the best! Griffey was such a whore that he even had other players use his C271 bats (even had the tape on the handle) during BP, in order to keep the constant demand and pipeline filled. I remember many nights at the Kingdome, watching various players use Griffey's bats during BP.

Griffey and Arod both were ordering extra jerseys with the M's, just for the purpose of reselling them. I even remember Kevin Mitchell getting into the act when he was with the M's, and ordering extra bats with CMB (Cash Money Brother), just for the sake of reselling them.

As such, the jersey in question should not be a real shocker.
