Converse Shoe Date Code

Does anyone know of a source for decoding the information on an older Converse tag? I think the shoe is from the 1980s to mid 1990s. The tag is inside the left side of the right shoe, and has 3 lines. The top line is 678605, the second line is 14 (probably the size) and the third line is A8991.
