Re: Current news story on Topps
Went outside notice it made front page. What are the chances he gets the bat now?

Re: Current news story on Topps
That Mets player will be forgotten, come Spring.
The kid should visit other kids his age with Cancer and other diseases.
Two tears in a bucket...

It is now showing that Topps has honored the sale, which is the correct way to handle this.

Re: Current news story on Topps
The correct way to handle this would've been to honor the sale in the first place, without trying to squeeze a few hundred dollars out of the bat by screwing the kid.
And then, Topps should offer Murphy some extra dough to sign a few dozen more bats. If he's smart he'll realize his popularity will never be higher than it is right now. Time for him, and Topps, to capitalize on it... without hurting kids in the process.
