    Best Way to Remove Tape from bat

    I just got a Rickey Henderson bat from MOS and the barrel was taped down where there was a slight crack I would like to remove the tape for display purposes I got the bat cheap 185 for a man with 3000 hits and SB king any hints would be appreciated im down to just the gluey residue which is a pain thanks again

    Goo-Gone has worked well for me. It takes off the residue without damaging the finish. I wouldn't use it on unfinished bats though since it is a petroleum product and will stain the wood. On unfinished bats, isopropyl alcohol works pretty well without damaging the wood.
