I like em, but I've seen some new San Diego throwbacks on TV that I liked a bit better.

Desperate for attention uniforms.

But, if merchandise sales go well, I can see a move to progressive looking uniforms happen as short term fad. MLB is hurting on the young demographic, so this might be a push to open that door.

History shows that when teams try trendy, they often go back to classic looking uniforms within 10 years.

I'm not really a fan of the snakeskin addition, I'll have to wait to see what it looks like on the field but I do like the added green and the charcoals.

Only thing uglier is the minor league "theme" jerseys. And why so many different versions? Any idea if the MLB logo on the back of the pants will be on all teams pants in 2016? I thought that looked kind of cool

The MLB logo will be on every team's pants in 2016. I'm also thinking Majestic will update to their new logo on the jersey sleeves.

Vastly improved team, major FA signing, and new uniforms. Really marketing genius at work here...very similar the the Marlins couple years back. This is what you do.

For the most part, it's a thumbs down but I do like pieces of them. I think the snakeskin effect looks good; it's definitely something that has not been done before, so I give the team points for originality. I do dislike the charcoal color, especially with darker numbers. No way this style will go over well. I also dislike the large number of uniforms. Do we really need 8??? And finally, the piping that stops before it gets to the top of the pants just looks outright ridiculous.

I agree with the article by saying they look very BP like. Outside of the dark gray(which i like) they are a bit cheesy. Another thought I think they will look better from a distance. Up close the snake skin...well...doesn't look like snake skin.

The hats...are pretty ugly. I just don't see what they were going for. The pinstripe not going all the way up the pants is also very weird.
