Jim Thome bat on Ebay

For any of those bidding on this bat, it was a multiple player used bat. Thome's #25 was marked on the knob and #30 with a "Lay" on it.

I would imagine anyone bidding on it would've done their homework, buuuuut...

12 pictures and not a single shot of the knob sent the huge red flag up the pole for me on this one...

I almost did a buy it now for $550 on the bat. They sent me this photo but I do not see the #30 and "lay". Glad I missed out if this was the case.

Interesting. I purchased it right when it was listed for $399 BIN. I then asked for a photo of the knob and got this....

Well, buyer beware in the future. It's clear he sanded the knob.
