Quick question, if I put down a max bid and someone else bids lower than my max, does that count as another bid for me? I just want to make sure that I'm using the correct strategy, I would love to win a prize for the first time tonight!

you have a max bid on an item, and someone places the next bid, and your max bid is higher, the system automatically PLACES A BID FOR YOU and yes, that's a 'bid' for purposes of the contest. it will show up as a new bid on the screen I look at and we do not see max bid amounts.
