Photomatch Help
I bought an A.J Batting Helmet this weekend at Soxfest and the right front brim is bent and a smash mark on the back as well. I will take better pictures tonight. My camera died last night when Igot home so better pictures tomorrow.
Should be easy to make out in a picture. Right front brim has white line highlightingh the plastic is stretched and angled down a little.
Some of you find these pretty easy. So I thought I would ask for help.
Thanks,
Glen

Re: Photomatch Help
Glen,
Could these marks be the end result of Michael Barrett's right hook? Just kidding. Post the pics...would love to see you photo match the helmet!

Re: Photomatch Help
Rob,
Believe me that is the first picture I looked at. Would love to have a photomatched item from that exchange. I will take pictures of the helmets tonight.
Thanks,
Glen

Re: Photomatch Help
Glen,
Nice helmet! A.J. apparently alternated between Coolflo and traditional style last year, although it looks like he favored Coolflo, i.e., yours. The attached photos were taken a few days apart in late July. The brim appears bent in the frontal shot but I'd hesitate in calling it a match until I saw a better closeup. Images from later in the season appear to show A.J. wearing a helmet without the bent brim, so it's possible he switched sometime in August.
Good luck,

Re: Photomatch Help
Jason thanks so much for the help. I would say that it looks like a pretty close match. I also would like to see something better but gettyimages is empty for him during that time frame. Any other places I could look? For Associated Press you have to be a member, correct? I can't seem to browse photos.
Thanks again for the help,
Glen
