Troy Aikman Ucla Jersey?
Can anyone give any insight on if this an issued jersey or retail? The jersey is extremely long and can see on the tags, the details of it.

I am no expert on football stuff, but I am certain it is a retail jersey for signings. Everything is way too modern and new to be issued.

Re: Troy Aikman Ucla Jersey?
I don't think NCAA teams were putting manufacturer logos on jerseys yet when Aikman was in college.

Re: Troy Aikman Ucla Jersey?
Would it be considered a replica then? It seems funny to make such a long jersey for signings. Thanks for the input.

Re: Troy Aikman Ucla Jersey?
That looks like a team issued blank made into a Aikman.

Re: Troy Aikman Ucla Jersey?
Not even close to being team-issued. Aikman wore size 48 (not 52). 1987-88 uniforms did not feature "UCLA" on the v-neck; Goodman & Sons manufacturer (not Reebok). This most obviously seems like a post-career retail stat jersey.

Re: Troy Aikman Ucla Jersey?
I believe the jersey is circa 1998 and is Team Issued as it matches exactly to what the players wore that year including the neckline UCLA patch and the Reebok logo. I believe this was a blank jersey and a person bought a name and number kit and customized the name, numbers and sewed the stats on the lower back tail.
