Inspirational or personal messages on GU equipment
I have a cap JC Romero wore in four games in the '08 WS in which he wrote a message to himself on the inside "I'm here 4 a reason," etc. You can see him in the telecast reading it on the mound right before his first appearance.
Also have a Ken Giles Phillies cap where he wrote "G.O.A.T." (not so much now) and "You vs. Them" and a Fernando Abad A's cap with a pretty long message.
I like these because they're the players' private thoughts to motivate themselves, something fans don't often get to see. Show your examples!

Good idea for a thread.
Carlos Quentin SDP cap that reads "Relax Idiot", "Be Patient", and has a drawing of cherries, which represented cherry bombs, as in "don't drop bombs".

Those items are really nice. So different from my pc of Wade Boggs there is nothing like that.

Re: Inspirational or personal messages on GU equipment
It isn't inspirational and is maybe a bit TOO personal, but I once had a 1993 Cubs cap worn by Dwight Smith and given to me by him that had the notation "Shitty Smitty" under the brim.

Thanks for the compliment! I appreciate the interest but I'll be hanging on to the Q hat.
