Game Used Eric Hosmer Model G174 Bat

If you're looking for an Eric Hosmer game used bat this is not the bat for you. This bat may have his name on it but it was not used by him. It was not even used by a member of the Royals. This bat has been authenticated as being used by Gerardo Parra of the Baltimore Orioles in the game against the Tampa Bay Rays in Tampa Bay.

While the bat was broken by another player it does not prove Hosmer never used the bat (unless the use characteristics are off, I have no idea what Hosmer bats look like).

True. The Royals did play in Baltimore the 11, 12, 13th. That's 4 days prior to the bat being broken in Tampa Bay

Hosmer has been a consistent user of padded grip tape for a couple years. No evidence of that visible on this bat, so I'd be doubtful of his ever using it.
