I picked up the baseball in May its Madison Bumgarner RBI double from May 22nd that scored the only run in the game vs the Cubs. Topps made a card for the performance and it just got delivered today.
When we bought our condo about 5 years ago, I had to sell a number of jerseys and bats to raise funds for the down payment. Last week I got in somewhat of a replacement for one of those items...a GU cracked bat (autographed) of former Cub Henry Rodriguez. It's a Yankees bat, and is cracked (the original that he gave me was a Cubs bat and uncracked) but I now again have something of this former favorite of mine in my collection again.
2004 Jim Edmonds Game Used Bat. Edmonds bats are really tough to find, as Jim didn't give many bats away. This one shows perfect characteristics including heavy use and his well-known spiral tape.

Collecting Cardinals jerseys and bats, with a focus on Yadier Molina, Matt Holliday, and Adam Wainwright.
I corraled career baseball #1809 (season #2) at tonight's White Sox-Royals game in a most unusual way. Royals BP produced only one ball within my reach, and my cane, which I use to reach baseballs I can't get my mitt on, stuck in the seat, costing me a chance at it. I went to go sit in the seat I usually occupy by the Sox bullpen, but, just before the game started, the ticketholders showed up, and I had to move. I went up about 7 rows, strolled towards the far end of the row, only to look down in a seat about 5 or 6 from the end, and see a BP baseball that no one spotted during or after BP wedged in the bottom of the seat. I've found baseballs wedged in seats at the Cell before...heck, when a Brewers BP got rained out just after the game opened one day in the 1990s, I searched a section's worth of seats and found 6 total from White Sox BP...but I've never found one before this close to game time.
Just got home from Pittsburgh, where I picked up a Matt Holliday hit baseball from Opening Day 2016. The fourth-inning single was the Cardinals first hit of the season.
Before I left town, I also acquired a 2002 Woody Williams home jersey.
Tulane wore one-off digital camouflage jerseys and hats for Military Appreciation Night back in May. I picked up one of the jerseys through the athletic department's auction site.
We must be one of the only Division I schools that wears Rawlings. All our other sports wear Nike, and that contract was renewed last year if I remember correctly.
I'm always looking for game-used Tulane Green Wave football jerseys. Feel free to get in touch! #RollWave Twitter | Game Used Universe | E-Mail
