Jose has been playing softball for quite a few years now. Roughly 5 or 6 years ago a team I played for made it to Orlando where the USSSA Softball World Series is played every year. I remember Jose's name being brought up several times in regards to him trying to compete in the Softball Home Run Derby and also how he wanted to break the record for longest slow pitch home run. Not sure if he ever accomplished this.
