    HOF voting

Ken Griffey is being inducted into the Hall of Fame today. He was named on all but three of the ballots. Griffey said he had no problem with being left off the ballots, that 3 voters who didn't vote for him might have been trying to keep someone else eligible who might have fallen off the list.
I think that HOF voters ought to have their ballots public. A great many of the voters make their picks public. I think they all should have to. This is not like an election for public offices where we have a secrete ballot. If a voter leaves a clearly first ballot HOF worth voter off his ballot we ought to know why.
