Re: How Do You Find Out The Hit #?
Baseball-reference.com
Player name
"Standard Batting Tab" you'll see a drop down menu that says FINDERS
click EVENT.......on the drop down menu select if you want hit, single, double, hr, etc, and year or full career. It will search for you and bring up every "hit". Scroll down to the date of your ball and it will tell you the career number on the far left column.
Hope this helpsComment

Re: How Do You Find Out The Hit #?
same for me, kind of. when i searched david ortiz's career doubles, it showed every year but 2016 (was able to go through the game logs for 2016 and it was an accurate accounting through 2015). when i searched eric hosmers's career doubles, it only showed me 2016. it also told me hosmer had no home runs this year, which is obviously incorrect.Comment
