"lAN.3" on Ebay - fake paperwork

Some of this is reiterated from the "Dr J Tawain" thread. But I think everybody buying on ebay should be aware of this seller and the paperwork he's putting into the market.

The first one I saw was the "Dr J 1984-85 Jersey" with a LOA purportedly written by Alan Meza. But the LOA would lead you to believe that english was the writers second language (although my grammar isn't that great so i shouldn't talk). I was also under the impression Meza only wrote letters/collected Michael Jordan items. The other thread confirmed that this was bad paperwork regardless.

    Picture posted.
    Sold for over $800

Building off that, there is a Jordan shooting shirt on ebay from the same seller, with obvious incorrect font name on the back, and another Meza letter with the same second language writing mistakes.

Also he has two Lebron James Cavaliers gamers up right now, with more than likely forged paperwork also.

Hopefully Dave can post and confirm that the seller's letters from him are also fakes.

The mears letter, # 144354 is an A10, which a Cav Lebron without detailed provenance is usually an A5 Mears base grade. Picture attached.
I also could not find this letter in the MEARS system. All Lebron James jerseys that i saw span the letter # range of
    #255096 Graded in 2005 - #314967 Graded in 2016.

Ok, so there are multiple threads on this seller already, perhaps I should have posted under one of those... But I think it is still a good idea to consolidate all the information on his items sold so far. Because they will pop up again from other people, in other places, and the seller next time will have no idea what he has...

Other threads referencing him include a Jordan with fake paperwork selling for 15k,

And even more Lebron cavs gamers with altered paperwork.
    This Lebron :

According to their database, the Mears # is legit, for a completely different Lebron A5 Procut from a different year, changed on their phony paperwork to a MEARS A10.

Seems like they are using images and information from other paperwork they find to make forgeries...

Not sure how much more in depth I should go on this, but its pretty crazy considering they're probably selling 30k+ worth of fake game used jerseys on ebay in the matter of a month.

Wow he's really given'er a push with the Mears and Dave Miedema COA's. I have a hard time believing those are legit as well.

Dave,if he's using forged documents with your name I'm pretty sure you can file criminal charges or even defamation charges. Someone should report this guy! I would but I'm canadian so they'd tell me to pound sand

If he's sold thousands in profit on forged game used gear that'll turn into a federal crime, I'm looking forward to seeing where this leads

I contacted Barry from MeiGray both LeBron that have the MeiGray tag are fakes. The tags actually belong to another teams jerseys and not the LeBron's the seller has listed.

It really sucks this seller is taking people to the cleaners.

I looked at on of the Lebron links...that jersey's forged LOA is modeled after one I issued for Goldin Auctions, and is not legit

    Dave,

He has used your letter on almost every jersey he has sold.
