I don't think players wore last names on their practice jerseys. I do not know if the sig is real but not a practice jersey.

I already sort of figured it wasn't a practice jersey. But that picture proves that point totally.

The big question is whether it is a team-issued or a retail? Really tough to tell with these old Wilson jerseys. Unlike today with the extra neck/jock-tagging,cut, etc.

With Bears jerseys from the mid to late 80's it's hard to tell if one is a team issued or a retail jersey.

From my experience, it's almost always a store bought model.

Agreed. Signature has been authenticated. Jersey is indeed a retail item.
