    Rizzo did the same thing with the ball that clinched the NLCS too. Smart thinking on his part.

    How much do you see Cubs WS jerseys going for if the team puts any up for auction?

    World Series game 7 jerseys I see the guys who didn't even make it in the game going for 10k+
    Rizzo would go for over 100k imo, at least I would get that based on what I got for piazza as example

    I think it's pretty rare that these big significant balls ever see the light of day. Most players and teams want to do exactly what the Cubs are doing with those balls - keeping them in house to memorialize such a great accomplishment.

    As they should. I'm glad the baseball is staying with the team and not being auctioned off.
