Masrhall Faulk 2002 NFC Championship Jersey Thoughts??

Let me know what you guys think about this jersey. Looks to have been washed because the stains are not as bold as they once were and there is no terrible smell!! haha But I believe I have several matches and I am loading up the high quality images as we speak.

interesting jersey, the matches appear to be solid. The nfl shield however is not the same as was worn in 2001. I guess it could be conceivable that the team re-attributed the shield for use in the 2002 season, which would have been when your style NFL Shield was introduced.

The necktag shows 01, and it has repairs. Maybe it was used originally then, because I haven't tried to track down when the original tears were made. It has 7-8 overall repairs that have been re-sewn. I need to track down what all games it was actually used because it may have some more really nice history since 01 was his MVP year.

So I looked and you are correct. You can see where the old logo was attached. There is marks where it was sewn. Since it was washed I'm assuming it was going to be reused.

This isn't a red flag, in and of itself. Between scanning photos and examining jerseys in hand, I've seen a few dozen 2001 Reebok gamers over the years that had the neck shield changed for use in 2002.

Here are some pics from the Packers.
One the gold shoulder repair and two holes that were repairs for the Eagles game. Another shows the front two scuffs on the 2 that later had green marks in the second game used.
