New Sunday alternates for the Blue Jays

Sports Illustrated reported yesterday that the Toronto Blue Jays will wear red jerseys on Sunday during 2017.

Looks just like their Canada Day uniforms except the logo is red instead of blue. Toronto has one of MLB's nicest color schemes and probably a top 5 logo. You'd think it would be really hard to ruin their "look" but they have succeeded because these jerseys have zero appeal. Maybe that's just my lack of understanding of the importance of the color red to Canadians??

Red and White has the same importance to us Canadians as Red, White and Blue does to Americans.

2017 is Canada's 150 Birthday. This is their reason for this Alternate jersey.

I'd rather see the Canadian flag patch on the sleeve of all their jerseys this season. The red alts aren't bad, but the red on red cap logo (I assume that is the Maple leaf) needs work, it is basically invisible.
