Here's a white one on his 89 Flleer card but no guaranty it's his.

And the photo, based on the background and the time of issue of the 1989 Fleer set would point to the photo being from 1988 spring training, making it a pre-rookie bat (if it's his).

I got the Griffey Rawlings in the Goldin Auction, it's a beautiful (unused) white bat, with the criss cross tab. I wonder if it was shipped to him as a test model? It's a 1996 model, I'm really curious what the story on it is.
