    Expos bat numbering

Im sure this is some minor league expos bat but anyone recognize this style of bat marking? Two numbers at same time? Shared bat? Its late 70s early 80s.

Early or mid 1980s (depending on the size of the LS oval). Pre-1980 would have used the "old label" H&B oval.

thanks dave, I forgot about the oval....I just bought it to get jeff reardon to sign and I know it's more than likely not his bat....does anyone know what circumstances lead players to split number a bat like this? I've seen multi player bats where a center number is marked out and the new guy's number is added but this looks pre planned, with each number taking equal space

Yes!!!!!!! Thank you! Same seller only had one other bat, same model but missspelled galarraga on it! I was thinking maybe andres had an affinity for 14 and 41 before he wore them with expos and cards! U made my day
