    LVS bat question

    Guys

I have mattingly M110 that does not have the line under the 125 in the logo stamp. But does have a 4 stamped on the knob.

I know most store model bats have the line under the 125. This one does not but I just don't think it's a game model or issued. Def not used.

When did they start with the 125 being underlined?

Any input from the bat guys is appreciated.

    Thanks again
    Bill

I am sure folks like Tim Byington can go into great detail on this, but the short answer is that the underlined 125 is a show model bat for signing and such. An LVS with a number stamped in the knob in this case a 4 is a store model bat.

I received a Placido Polanco bat from the Tigers as a throw in on a deal. It's MLB authenticated as a game issue. It's a L163 but I noticed it has an underline under the 125. Souvie bat. Pretty sure there is a large thread on here about underline/souvie bats. Just an FYI

The 4 stamped on the knob also represents that the bat is 34 inches long.
