    Reviving old pine tar thread

    Hello everyone-
A while back- I think it might be close to nine years now- there was a thread regarding heavily pine tarred bats. I enjoyed the thread as it not only showcased guys like Brett and Posada, but also the likes of Glaus, who I think is an underrated pine tar guy, not to mention the only one I could really afford back then. Here are a few Glaus gamers along with a Salty. I love the Rawlings ash bats he use to use, as he would stick with one he liked until it broke.
    Thanks guys and be well
    Joe

Thank you so much. I begin collecting Glaus and Mienkiewicz in 2005-2009 when in graduate school. I always loved the heavy pine tar users, and these guys fit into my budget at the time- and still do, two kids later! I have over a dozen Glaus bats, but these are the best.

The Salty is from 2012, the year he really started gooping tar on his bats. He hit a home run against the Yankees with this one and broke it later in the series.

    Thanks!
