    High Desert Mavericks Jersey

My nephew came over and wanted a jersey to wear, first time he ever asked....He picked out a High Desert Mavericks #36....The shirt is a specialty gamer, looks like a Jimmy Buffett kinda Margarittaville type shirt..Its red and i think it had the logo of the team all over the red body...I cannot remember when i bought it.....Anyone know anything about this team? thanks, Jeff

Per Wikipedia, the Mavericks franchise existed from 1988-2016, and ceased operations after the 2016 season. Originally known from 1988-90 as the Riverside Red Wave, the team moved to Adelanto and became the Mavericks in 1991, and under both identities was part of the California League (High-A ball). They were affiliated with 8 different MLB organizations over their existence, the last of which was the Texas Rangers. I hope that helps.

Thanks Dave, do you have any info about the Buffett style shirt and what was the "night" it celebrated?

I'd have to look that up. A few minor league teams over the past several years have had Jimmy Buffett and/or Margaritaville promotions.
