Took a chance on a Lonnie Chisenhall game used axe handle bat earlier this afternoon. I still need to put a lot more time into it, but it looks like it could be the bat he was using for his pinch hit grand slam back on April 14th of this year. It would definitely make sense, as the bat was cracked and authenticated in the bottom of the 1st inning the very next day. The barrel is in motion in the photo, so the two spots I magnified seem to be blurred. The placement is definitely correct. The knob has a couple factory drill spots, and some paint wear that seem to match quite well, too.

just picked up this 1983 Pacific Coast League champion Portland Beavers helmet worn by future major leaguer, Len Matuszek. Shows a lot of use but is uncracked
