does anyone know whose bat this is? BPAS
I have a game used bat that has the letters BPAS on the barrel and the word Sully on the knob. I believe the bat to be from the late 1990's thru any years in the 2000's. Pretty broad timespan.

A bat is stamped "BPAS" when a player is unsatisfied with the feel, and sends it back to the manufacturer. Sometimes these bats will end up in the hands of minor league players, or sometimes they get donated.

I believe it stands for "ballplayer assortment" and is stamped on overruns.
Bats returned from players aren't stamped BPAS, as they would already be stamped with the player name.. rather they are relegated to the BPAS racks at the factory. This is my understanding of those bats.- CINCINNATI REDS/JOEY VOTTO BATS
