It is a mid 70s Yankees jersey #16(which is whitey fords) I know he retired in the 60s but does anyone have any info?

The Wilson tag is of the 1974-78 design. However, the specs tag underneath it, with no mention of player name, would indicate the jersey to be a salesman's sample.

Normal game-used/issued Yankees jerseys from 1974 and 1976 show the name in the collar. That also stands true of the 1975 road Yankees gamers, which were supplied by Rawlings (not Wilson).
