Different than the Sabes jersey.

To be clear, I was only showing the Ripken/Boggs jerseys as an example of what they looked like in general....I noted my picture was from 1987 and surmised the Saberhagen jersey was from the year before.

I doubt that Saberhagen played in the 1985 game since the contest took place before the season started and Sabes only went 10-11 in 1984 (no doubt his break out season was in 1985, thus my suspicion that the jersey was from 1986).

In addition to the programs, I believe I also have the VHS recording of that 1986 game, which I'll have to pull that out too...

I recall one of the contests was held at the old Boardwalk & Baseball complex in Florida..........

I haven't heard that name in a long time, so many memories. The turf on that field was wild, I played a few games there and stayed in the dorms back in 91. Another iconic FL spring training location that has been demolished.
