Need opinions on this '93 Tigers Mike Gardiner Jersey. It has the Russell Tag, but only shirt size otherwise. Maybe spring? Thanks, Marty

All 3 other '93's i've found have strip tags. He did only play in September in '93, so maybe this how call up/ trade jerseys were issued?

Likely OK. The Intera tag was not used in retail jerseys, and the size (46) isn't one sold at retail by Russell. A few years ago, a card dealer from Toledo (Kevin Savage) brought about a dozen similar jerseys to sell in Chicago and they all seemed to be team items lacking the strip tag. The notion of it being a shirt issued to a mid/late-season call-up makes sense.
