    Best way to display helmet?

Whats the best way to display a GU baseball helmet? Are the styrofoam heads steady enough to hold a helmet with one ear flap?

I'm not sure about the Styrofoam heads. This is the display I use:

If you like the stand only they have a few different options as well for under $20

If you have multiples like me, here is what I currently do. Still a work in progress:

    Love these from IKEA $60:

    http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10119206/

Glass flower vase to hold the helmet. Different heights depending on the type of helmet and if there is padding or not in the helmet. The ones with the jaw protectors will require taller vases. Also the top helmet on the left is an Alex Gordon helmet, he removes the top padding from his helmets thus a taller vase is needed, which I still need to get.

    Vases: $3 to $5 each

Have also found some of these at Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby.

Here is what it looks like, sorry for the poor quality of the image its an older picture and is what I have at the minute also the helmet with jaw protector now has a taller vase so it sits up off the shelf. Ill try to get a new picture when I get home:

Ok here is an updated picture with some closeups. I like that you can put pictures with the items. In the two displayed the helmets are photomatched to the pictures or in this case oversized baseball cards.

Thanks for the Michael's tip! I was looking for a better way to display some of my game used Orioles helmets & those glass vases worked perfectly!

Was in Hobby Lobby tonight and all their glass vases are 50% off through October 21. They have a very good selection of sizes for anyone that’s interested.

I did a post a few years ago about how to make your own batting helmet displays out of pvc, fiberglass, glue and spray paint.... came to less than $2.00 per and better quality than other helmet holders on the market
