Re: ESPN 30 for 30: The counterfeiter
My old company, score board inc, sued and won vs one of the fraudulent sellers in 1994, stans. It was the first civil case against forgers and the seller of their product and included a lawsuit vs "My Favorite Player" company owned by Tony Podsada , who signed a consent decree never to sell forged autographs . After Score Board shut down they came out en masse with fake stuff and counterfeit score board certificates. Tough to buy none authenticated autographs either first hand authentication such as MLB or player issued holograms. Or TPA such as psa JSA or Beckett
