    How Do You Find Out???

I have decided to do some research on a old ballpark locally. What I want to ask it.. Does anyone know where to look or how to find out what demolition company was used to tear down a ballpark. I'm talking back in the 60's. Does a company have to file for a permit..etc with the city to take down something this big? If so, what department would I contact locally (it was a local ballpark) to see if I can find the company that did the demolition? Any help would be appreciated as this is all new to me and I do not have a clue on where to start.

    Thanks for the read..

    David.

If the ballpark was city owned, then you should be able to find someone in your city's Building Permit department to point you in the right direction.

The best source for any kind of research like this is usually your local public library. You can search old newspapers for articles about the demolition and can probably get all the information you need.

Any librarian would be happy to help you out.

    Good luck.
