Re: Best Archival Garment Bags/Hangers for GU Jerseys
I'm not a high end jersey guy. I have a few FB jersey's, i just went to the dry cleaners and got some of those cheap thin plastic pull over bags, and place them in those. I just hang em in a closet. I wear em from time to time though. I'm sure some other members will offer advice for high end archival. -

Re: Best Archival Garment Bags/Hangers for GU Jerseys
This is definitely not high-end, but I buy the sweater bags at dollar tree. They come 2 per package and they zip up, are quite roomy (I usually put 2 football jerseys in each one), they breathe so I don't worry about mold or anything, and they work well with the equipment bags that I store jerseys in. I can fit 2 football jerseys or baseball jerseys easily each one and stack them in the equip bag very neatly.
As I said, they're low-tech, cheap and simple. But, for me they work really well. I've been using them for probably 8-10 years.

Re: Best Archival Garment Bags/Hangers for GU Jerseys
i have had the best luck with these hangers (link below). they were recommended by another forum member. other hangers can cause jersey pulls in the shoulders from the way they rest, especially for extended periods. i havent found better yet (the bows come off of the hangers easily).
then if you look on amazon/ebay/etc, search for the plastic bags dry cleaners use and protect the jerseys with those. can get them in bulk for pretty cheap.
hope this helps. good luck.Comment

Check out Foster-Stephens, they have muslin hangers (which I use) as well as bags and storage boxes.
