Advice on a 1955 Dodgers Jersey

I am debating purchasing this from a close friend, and I know of some of the obvious inconsistencies with the jersey. I am mainly seeking if someone could pinpoint more info on it for me. It is has Wilson tagging, "1955" tag and "Walker" stitched onto the neck. My feeling is it could be a Minor League jersey? Thanks!

I can't say without seeing it, but back in the 1990s, a whole slew of bogus Brooklyn Dodgers unis appeared via a prominent SCD advertiser from the L.A. area. The story was that all these 1955 jerseys sat in trunks belonging to former Dodgers coach Greg Mulleavy, and were doubted by most of the more knowledgeable dealers and collectors of the day. Hopefully, it's not one of those.
