Pete Rose Mizuno sells for 1226.00 on ebay...

This Pete Rose Mizuno 4192 bat sold on ebay ,item # 170081766907 ended at $1226.00 . I noticed the same bat also was listed for sale here on the forum prior to ebay . Prior to that Left Field Collectibles had the same bat listed as sold and the listed price was $1850.00. So I assume the ebay/guu member bought the bat off LFC for around the asking price . So does that mean the seller (ebay/guu member) lost that much money ? the difference between $1850. and $1226. I Would hope not .....

I got that much for the Rose bat, but I also got a Don Werner 1976 Reds home game used jersey in the deal. So I'm very happy with it. I got the bat from LFC for 1600+. So, I probably lost a little in the deal, but not much, as Reds gamers from 1976 are very tuff to come by, and even the no name players like Werner go for pretty good bank.

Well thats good, I was thinking you lost your shirt on the deal . Didn't know about the jersey, if your happy that's all that matters....

I think I probably broke even in the deal if you count the Werner jersey too.Though I thought the Rose bat would go higher than it did. I did great on the Perez and Murphy bats, but the Rose was a disappointment. That's life on ebay. I will post photos of the Werner when I get the jersey. Thanks guys.
