1970's Nolan Ryan Gameused Undershirt
Hey Everyone,
Long time lurker, first time poster. Alright, what i have on my hands is a gameused undershirt of Nolan Ryan. My father got it at an auction for a local fire dept. back in the early 80's. What im looking for is, what year does this look like its from? Would it be better to get it authenticated through PSA/DNA or Ryans Foundation? I would like to keep it for my son, but then again the money would go towards his college in 10 years
Here are the photos.
I also have another one with wear and tear on the elbow that has been sewn up.

Vhillers,
that McAuliffe "blue border" tag can be seen on some jerseys and pants manufactured by McAuliffe dating back to 1974. It was the standard tag starting in 1975. With the exception of Oakland, McAuliffe was pretty much done supplying anything to the Major Leagues in 1978. I think you can safely use that time period (1974-78) to date the jersey.
