    I remember a few years back JR had a private signing that Upper Deck sponsored. I think the price was about half of the current advertised prices.

      Those are insane prices. 200 for a trading card lol PLUS additional cost if it’s a rookie card lmao.

        Like i said on another site as long as people keep paying these insane prices the promoters and athletes will continue to charge them.

          Theres a huge signing coming up next month outside of Boston. A recent email from the promoter stated that one of the current Red Sox players has committed to the show. His pricing hasn't been set yet and will depend on how well the Sox do in the post season. Basically the better your team does then the more you're gonna get charged. I agree with you on this one and its time to skip out on the price gouging.

            Agree with everything said, I just posted it b/c I had seen questions over the years asking when/if Griffey would do a private signing. Charging $400 for a bat, then an additional $300 if that bat is game used, is outrageous. Tristar really hyped it up as saying their were limited spots but as of now it's still possible to go in any pay to send anything in....so people are either balking at the price or the limited spots aren't so limited,
