Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows or can photomatch this 'Bobby Bonilla' circa 1986 jersey, it is manufactured by Majestic. It looks like the one featured on his 1987 topps card. In 1987 most photos I see feature a Rawlings jersey or one with a patch on the left sleeve. A lot of the 1988 cards may be the same jersey (as the card companies pull older photos) Does anyone think this is legit? It comes with a COA from Ballpark heroes 'Kim Stigall' as being purchased from the team.

Back in 1986-89, Majestic did supply BP jerseys for a number of teams, sometimes being one of 2 suppliers, with Rawlings or Wilson being the other. It should be noted, however, that Majestic didn't get a contract to be an approved supplier of these until 1990. Before that year, Majestic could not use a manufacturer sleeve logo.
Rawlings, from 1987-91, was the contracted supplier of game jerseys for MLB. As such they were allowed to use their sleeve logo on BP jerseys they made for MLB in that time frame.
