While the Kentucky Derby is still on track to be run on 9/5 at Churchill Downs in Louisville, the powers that be in organizing the event have changed their plans regarding admitting fans. Instead of a limited quantity of fans being allowed inside for the race, that has now been changed to no fans being admitted.

Two more Saturday NCAA football games will not be played due to positive COVID19 tests. Army/Air Force and Tulsa/Navy have fallen by the wayside.

If you tuned in to NBC earlier this evening expecting the Steelers/Ravens prime time game and saw something else, you're not alone. Based on COVID19 problems affecting the Ravens, the game has been postponed and will be played on Sunday 11/29.

The game has been postponed again, now set for 12/2. This has caused a reschedulng of all of the remaining Ravens games for the season.

Two more Saturday matchups, both title and/or ranking-related, both NCAA but in different sports, have been reported.

The Pac-12 North title game between Washington and Oregon has been cancelled due to pandemic-related issues.

So has the basketball game pitting #1 Gonzaga against #2 Baylor. The game will be rescheduled at a later date.

OVID19 concerns have caused a postponement of an off-field MLB event. This time the affected event is the meeting of the MLB HOF Veterans Committee that was schedule for the Golden Era players.
