It's been announced that the beginning of the NBA 2020-21 season will find the Toronto Raptors playing their home games in Tampa, FL due to COVID19 restrictions in Canada. How long this setup will go has not been determined at this time.

As late as this morning, SEC fans woke up to the news that the Clemson/Florida State football game had also bitten the dust for COVID19-related reasons.

Friday's annual Pac-10 rivalry game between Washington and Washington State has been cancelled and declared a no-contest due to COVID19 issues.

OVID19 concerns have caused a postponement of an off-field MLB event. This time the affected event is the meeting of the MLB HOF Veterans Committee that was schedule for the Golden Era players.

If you tuned in to NBC earlier this evening expecting the Steelers/Ravens prime time game and saw something else, you're not alone. Based on COVID19 problems affecting the Ravens, the game has been postponed and will be played on Sunday 11/29.

Several NCAA football games for this weekend have either been postponed or outright cancelled based on COVID19 problems. These include:
USC/Colorado
Oklahoma/West Virginia
Wisconsin/Minnesota
Utah/Arizona State
The Oklahoma/West Virginia game has been rescheduled for 12/12.

Two NCAA basketball teams have decided to postpone their first 4 home games of the season based on COVID19 problems. This affects the Ole Miss mens' team and UConn's female hoopsters.

Due ti a temporary law initiated by Santa Clara County (CA), the 49ers will be temporarily kicked out of Levi Stadium for their first 2 home games in December.
The law prohibits pro or college sports from hosting games or having practices in sports where direct bodily contact is common. The law goes into effect this coming Monday and runs through 12/21.
The temporary law also affects San Jose State, Stanford, and the San Jose Sharks (NHL).
